Therapy Scene

In the 2 minute film I think that a therapy scene would be good, I got this idea from the film 'The Fourth Kind'  I liked the use of the camera shots of going back and forth to two people.

I think a scene like this would be great for the film as it brings up a lot of tention and its a great opening scene for the film.

Possible Locations, Actors and shots to be used within the idea of the film.

I'm on my own again, so I have to make some disitions and I have gone with the current idea of a roof scene.
Location would probably be in either braintree or sudbury for the roof. But we want to find a place that looks high up but is actually jumpable. But we are going to get point of view shots on a high building. We also need stairs to run up, metal, cold. I also think no speech is necessary besides him screaming No. He runs up metal stairs points of wive shot, heavy breathing, burst through the door at the top ( medium shot), point of view shot at the woman about to jump off, close up of woman's face, tear running down her cheek. All goes into slow motion, she takes a step forward (shot of feet at the side, 2 steps away from edge), the guys eyes open wide ( extreme close up ) shouts ''don't!'' voice is all muffled and slurred slighty, from effect. runs to stop her ( numerouse shots, close up of his torso at an high angle, worms eye view of his legs running at an angle). Heart beat sound; starts to get faster, runs a little faster, heart beat is faster, heart beat faster ( slight tarcking shot as this is done ). He shouts no for a few seconds, at this part, it gets speed up quickly to normal speed ( medium shot as he runs the edge). Muffled voice becomes clear and loud. Close up of him just missing her jacket or coat. Close up of his face at his left side, slightly tilted upwards. ' Whispers no' Cuts to a black screen saying ''36 hours ealier''

Actors: Sam Colley, not sure about girl yet, still need to confirm idea with group.

Hopefully the main idea

It is only me and Suzanna today as Maddy is ill. We have brainstormed again and thought about possibly a roof idea. A girl on a roof, just standing there, about to walk off. Then a man slams through a door on the roof and shouts "wait!", this causes the girl  to stop, and turn around and the two people have a small conversation, of which the subject of the conversation maybe a mystery to the audience. Then the man walks forward slowly when talking to her, she then turns and jumps, the man then runs trying to save her, and starts shouting. The sound effects include a sound of a gun going off, to create suspense, and representing that a life may be lost... this is then confirmed by a screaming voice, which dramatises this. Whilst this is happening, the time slows down, creating slow motionm, so when the girl finally hits the floor suddenly, the motion of the clip also fastens up to a natural speed. Then there is a camera shot is going to cut to the womans hand as she lie on the floor, with a trickle of blood. The camera  then looks up at him and then cuts to a close up of his face looking down muttering the words no. Then cuts to a black screen with the words ,36 hours ealier.

Brain storming more

I think were trying to fit too much into a 2 minute opening scene. So because I am on my own today am trying to think of how to fit enough into 2 minutes to give an idea of the film but not trying to fit a whole film into 2 minutes.
I personally like the idea of silence of the lambs style, running through a wood, then getting summond to something important. It gives an aura of importance and tension http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102926/ This link is from IMDB description of the movie, actors involed.

Another idea I quite like is Sin city. The opening scene. Where it miss leads you, showing nothing is as it seems  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgKFX9m8GAg&feature=related  Quote'' She shivers in the wind like the last leaf on a dying tree. I let her hear my footsteps. She only goes stiff for a moment'' I really like the voice over in Sin city aswell.

I want to make sure there is an idea left for the rest of the film, so not alot given away in the first two minutes and it would leave you thinking.
